Antarctica has been a scientific testing ground for research in various fields recently. Russian scientists are particularly interested in studying the largest subglacial reservoir, Lake Vostok. The objective of the work is the study the deep structure and tectonic nature of the subglacial Lake Vostok area (East Antarctica) based on gravity and magnetic field data. The paper discusses the results of applying modern methods for interpreting potential fields: tomographic modeling to construct a three-dimensional distribution of the effective density and effective magnetization of rocks in the subglacial Lake Vostok area, as well as Euler deconvolution to localize the boundaries of anomaly-forming objects (faults, contacts). An extensive linear structure east of the lake, interpreted as a Proterozoic suture zone, has been identified and delineated, with a dip angle of about 60° and a thickness of 30-40 km. Zones of increased density and magnetization values have been identified beneath the lake, the possible cause of which is the basification (intrusion of mantle material) of the Earth's crust associated with rifting.
