В 2001 году с отличием закончил Санкт-Петербургский горный институт.

В 2004 г. защитил диссертацию на соискание ученой  степени кандидата технических наук.

С 2004 по 2008 год работал ассистентом, с 2007 года - доцент кафедры Разработки месторождений полезных ископаемых.

С 2008 по 2016 год работал заместителем декана Заочного факультета Горного университета.
